Tattoo idea

I had this idea for a tattoo that’s a Japanese proverb, this one basically means life is full of ups and downs. The top and bottom picture means the same thing, just written with a different second character. I like the second one better because of the marks on the left side of both the first and second character which blend with the rain from the cloud.I’m looking for feedback/suggestions on my idea in terms of size, design, placement on body, etc. I am by no means an artist and I don’t speak/write Japanese either, I just appreciate the culture and personally relate to this proverb.Also, you can ignore the character at the very top of the page.https://ift.tt/2Q29wkX https://ift.tt/2qfgmZ0
