My dad has a tat that he got long ago while he was in the Navy, not entirely sure exactly where he got it. It's a cracked skull with a heart around it, and a snake behind. (Pic will be posted in the comments whenever this post gets approved.) I used to think it was tacky and edgy, but I now relate to it even though I interpret it differently than he does. Anyway, the design is old and I'd love to hear ideas on how I can get the three different parts together (snake, cracked skull and broken heart) into a nicer looking tat. I found pics online that combine two aspects of the tattoo together, but I'm having a hard time thinking of how I can have all three.
