Couple of my lab mates want to get tattoos of compounds we worked with a lot in the lab. My research was primarily on next-generation sequencing to identify potentially harmful cyanobacteria in fresh water lakes. I also worked with cyanobacterial toxins (eg. Microcystins, saxitoxins and anatoxins).I am not sure if I want to get the typical chemical molecular structure tattoo as some of the compounds are big (eg. Microcystins).
