Question about the longevity of forest/tree designs

I’m interested in potentially getting a tattoo of a small forest, but I’m not sure it’s a good idea for the medium. All the images I can find are lovely, but clearly very fresh, and done in such a way that it seems it’ll just be a bunch of black blobs within a year. Anyone have experience giving/getting this type of tattoo? I’m talking a scene of a few to several trees, in a size that could fit on an arm or lower leg(I’m sure a giant back piece would be fine, but it’s not what I’m going for). https://ift.tt/2EZpEzG
